Sports Day

We had a company sports day yesterday.
We were all initially not ON about it, there were rain predictions and work was piling up at an exponential rate. I attended two meetings back to back in the morning, and rushed through lunch and made it to the park for the games. Alamak no rain. yet, but we did manage to skip the group cheer.

We grudgingly took part in the warm ups. Then we had to take part in some water balloon game. A colleague pouted, and another asked, "Are we going to get wet? I really don't want to get dirty." Pout again.
Our department manager said, "ok girls, it's not about winning, it's about the process, do it slowly, we must still maintain our glamness and not get too frazzled or dirty." All of us R Girls nodded in unison.

Overhead team member, who's from another dept, said to another," Hmm, that's the difference between the R Dept girls and us."
Then the game began. Dirt or no dirt, our competitive streak emerged. Our group head, an usually friendly funny chap, yelled "Hurry up! Cheat!" Then he took out his camera to catch us cheating in action. We won by a clear margin.
